Join Genia and Kevin Allen-Schmid at the Lummi ferry dock at 10:00 where we’ll load our bikes onto the ferry for the 5-minute ride to the island. We’ll ride 7-miles around the island at a leisurely pace, enjoying the scenery, two beaches and historic spots along the way. There are a couple short, steep hills so gears are strongly advised but fancy bikes are not necessary. After our bike tour we’ll eat a gourmet picnic lunch on the beach, prepared by Genia. The menu will include grapes, cheeses, crackers and breads, various fresh salads and other tasty tidbits as well as sweets and refreshing drinks.
