Jim will take you for a relaxing ride on his touring motorcycle, a 1988 BMW R100RT (also known as an Airhead in the same way Harleys are often called Hoggs). I've got a spare helmet and a few favorite roads in mind, and I'd love to take you for a nice ride when the weather turns nice. Buyer will take the initiative and propose a time with a few days notice; if I'm free, we'll go! Wendy really enjoyed this last year, and I'm only offering one ride this year, so bid it up! This time, I'll bring a picnic lunch for us to enjoy at some pleasant stop along the way.

Usher in summer at a Friday evening cocktail party, where you will travel to four different fabulous homes in downtown Columbus. Interweave members will serve a variety of summer-themed food and drinks. Each home will offer different but complementary alcoholic beverages, heavy hors d`oeuvres, and great conversation. Non-alcoholic beverages also will be served. Homes of Joe Heimlich & Jim Hodnett, Gary Allread, Rob Pilarski, and Jim Svagerko & John Wise. 7-11 pm.

Join Judy Kleen and Judy Field for one of those memorable nights, a mid-summer Mediterranean dinner, cool drinks, delicious food, and warm conversation. We'll begin with Spanish champagne and progress through delicacies from the Spanish, Greek, and other Mediterranean traditions. Note date change from 7/22 to August 26 at 7 pm.

We will make & serve "baby" foods (think baby back ribs, baby spinach salad, etc.) for 6 at our home on June 30, 2006. Enjoy the meal in the company of church baby Lillian. Allergy note: Our family includes one dog. She will not be in the home on the night of the dinner, but those with severe allergies may still be bothered by residual dander.

The evening will include authentic Transylvanian food (NOTE: most dishes contain meat) beginning with Szekely bean soup and continuing through layered cabbage, chicken with tarragon, wine and more, to honey cake and palinka. A brief program will highlight the history and present day reality of Unitarians in Transylvania. 7pm at Mark's house.
